Founder & CEO
I didn't come to HR certification through a traditional path — and that's exactly why CriticalThink HR exists.
My background is in enterprise technology. Over 31 years I've built systems for Fortune 500 companies, architected AI-powered platforms, and helped organizations translate complex operational challenges into scalable solutions. When HRTrainingClasses.com was founded, I was building the technology infrastructure for HR certification prep — but I realized quickly that to truly serve HR professionals, I needed to understand what they were actually facing in that exam room. So I sat for all five certifications myself. aPHR. PHR. SPHR. SHRM-CP. SHRM-SCP. All five in under two years — and that experience planted the seed for what would eventually become CriticalThink HR.
That journey changed everything I thought I understood about how people prepare for these exams. The content wasn't the problem. Most candidates know the material. What breaks people is the judgment layer — those ambiguous, high-stakes situational scenarios where the “right” answer requires understanding how senior HR leaders think, not just what the policy says.
